Citizen Science module within the TU Delft MOOC on Open Science


Join the Massive Open Online Course (MOOC) “Open Science: Sharing Your Research with the World”. This introductory course is aimed at professionals. Those who will see the most benefit include academic researchers at different levels: PhD students, postdoctoral researchers, and professors; researchers working for governments; researchers working for commercial enterprises; MSc and BSc students interested to learn about the principles of Open Science. 

The course starts again on May 18th 2022. The MOOC is a collaboration between the TU Delft Library, TU Delft Faculty of Technology, Policy and Management, and TU Delft ICT. Are you curious about open science and how to apply it to your daily research? Do you want to learn more about the benefits, how to increase your visibility, and become a(n even) more impactful researcher by sharing your research? Or are you interested in citizen science? Then join us in the next edition of the Open Science MOOC! This MOOC covers an introduction to Open Science and the FAIR principles, open research data, open access publishing, making research software FAIR,  how to increase research(ers) visibility and impact.

This year they introduce a module about citizen science, that we have helped to create. Sandra de Vries, the founder of PULSAQUA, has together with the TU Delft team designed it and is the main lecturer of this module.  

The course takes 4 weeks (about 4 hours per week).
