On February 1st, PULSAQUA welcomed three new faces at the office! Anita, Elke, and Julie all joined PULSAQUA, either as intern or as a trainee.
Anita Milisav is our newest intern. She is in the final stage of her master’s degree of Biopharmaceutical Sciences, with a specialization in science communication. Her internship at PULSAQUA will focus on (improving) the Science Citizens platform that was launched in the summer of 2022. You can read more about Anita on our About page.
Elke van Saane (International Relations) and Julie Cooke (Liberal Arts & Sciences) started a traineeship at the Fair Future Generators. As part of this traineeship, they will both work on a specific project within PULSAQUA for one day per week. Julie will work with us on improving the communication with and engagement of the Drinkable Rivers Hubs. Elke will mainly be active in the Spot the Hotspot project. She will examine and assess opportunities to expand this project to other areas, and she will also be involved in engaging current and new participants of the project.
