Congratulations to Jordy Janssen on the publication of his latest article, based on research conducted during his time at Pulsaqua!

This study dives into the complex and often underrepresented experiences of participants in citizen science initiatives. Using interviews and evaluation frameworks, the research offers a fresh look at how we understand the impact of projects like Delft Meet Regen, which was co-designed and implemented by Waterlab and Pulsaqua.

We’re proud that Pulsaqua played a central role in this project. Co-author and Pulsaqua founder Sandra de Vries contributed to the conceptualisation and supervision of this research.

💬 Some words from Sandra: “I very much enjoyed working together with Jordy on this. I still remember the day that they started calling as a team all Delft Meet Regen citizen scientist to invite them personally to join the interviews of Jordy, which resulted in a sufficient number of citizen scientists willing to participate. The results are also very interesting, as we have been able to showcase the value of citizen science for the participant of a ‘top-down’ set-up citizen science project”
